Canadian citizens have several popular pathways: the Employment Gold Card, the Working Holiday Visa, and the Entrepreneur Visa. All long-term routes eventually lead to an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).
Combines work permit, resident visa, and re-entry permit. For high-earners or experts in Tech, Economy, Education, etc.
Allows Canadians (18-35) to work and travel for up to 1 year. The age limit is higher for Canadians compared to other nations.
Standard sponsorship-based visa for professionals. Requires a pre-approved work permit from the WDA.
Your Taiwanese employer applies online to the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) for approval.
Apply for a Resident Visa at your local TECO in Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver).
Enter Taiwan and complete your arrival registration processes.
Submit your application for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) within 30 days of entry.
