Mandatory Steps

Local Address Registration

Register your address at the local Meldeamt (in the Town Hall or District Office) within 3 days of moving into an apartment.

Your Austrian employer will register you with the Social Security (ÖGK), and you will receive your e-card.

Apply for Registration Certificate
