Common Pitfalls & Expert Advice

Incomplete insurance coverage — most countries require a minimum of €30,000 in medical coverage. Outdated police clearance certificates (must usually be issued within 3–6 months). Failing to book a consulate appointment well in advance — wait times can be several months in peak periods.
