Available Visa Types for Mainland Residents

Main Work Routes

Express Entry

The federal points-based (CRS) system for skilled workers. It focuses on your age, education level, work history, and proficiency in English or French.

Provincial Nominee (PNP)

For skilled workers who have the education and skills to contribute to a specific province's economy. Each province has its own unique streams.

Work Permit (LMIA)

For those with a job offer from a Canadian employer. The employer must obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before the visa application.
